Adelaide Englestead, a senior at Panguitch High, secured back-to-back Class 1A girls titles at the Utah High School Activties Association state cross country championship meet at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Englestead covered the 5-kilometer layout in 20:06.0, leading Panguitch to its first sweep of the top three spots, along with junior Tabi Henrie placing second in 20:11.3 and freshman Brooke Albrecht taking third in 20:24.5. Panguitch captured its third consecutive team championship and eighth crown in program history with a 17-55 victory against Monticello.
